Do you ever buy cosmetics in games?

I am not really a fan of micro-transactions but when they are purely cosmetic, I am not as bothered buy it. Like if they benefit you as a player and you can "pay to win" I will not even bother playing the game. That being said, I have gotten a few cosmetic items in the past from games I was enjoying at the time. In more recent years, I have spent money on Warframe and Rocket League.

The most recent was a season pass for Rocket League of which I did not feel was worth it because the unlocks were not even that great.

Do you ever buy cosmetic items games?

I have before but I don't make a habit of it. And it is usually only in games that are free and I have already spent hours enjoying so it justifies giving the devs some level of support for my enjoyment in the game.

I do and it is for the same reason mentioned above. If the game was free and I am enjoying it, I like to support the team and the company that made it because I feel it was worth my time to invest in. If I paid for the game though, I very rarely will buy extras.

I have but I can't tell you when the last time was. It has been awhile. When money is tight, this is like one of the things I never spend money on. Virtual stuff without real value is pointless. I would be careless with my money to be spending on such things when things are too tight.

I am not sure if a season pass for a game counts or not but I have gotten those and they do give you cosmetics. I am considering getting one for Apex but I have not decided on whether or not it is worth it. Been getting lag issues since this latest update so I don't wanna give a game money if I am going to end up not playing it because of lag.

Yeah I will one in a while but it isn't something I feel the need or desire to obtain. I know a lot of people will spend money on this stuff, and I am talking hundreds and I never understood that.

Only if I like a game enough for it. I have gotten DLC for sure but I really, really have to like a game to pay for cosmetics.

Usually this is only the case in free games as well.

I ended up getting a pass for Apex since I am playing it a lot right now. Turns out the lag issue was my own server. lol

I had a program running to check speeds so that was causing the game to lag every time it checked it.

I know I have but I can't really remember what. It is something I do on rare occasions. Outside of DLC, I seldom do it cause it doesn't really add value to the game. A friend of mine on the other hand will just buy things willy nilly lol
