Apex Legends

I played back when Apex Legends was still new before all the map alterations. I kept playing it for awhile until the map just became a mess.

I ended up giving it another try recently and the maps they have are so much better now. I am having fun with it again.

Anyone else play? You any good? Which legend is your go-to to play with?

I am decent. I think I can improve though but it all comes down to having a solid team that actually knows how to work together and use their legend to benefit the team. I mainly use Octane for the speed boost and the launch pads. I find this to be helpful for outrunning the ring as well as enemies. I am able to run out and pick downed teammates as well. I used to mainly use Lifeline cause I liked being a support player and never having to worry about med kits but I find her to be one of the more average or less useful legends now. I also like to use Seer just for map scouting to find enemies.

I started playing this recently for the first time. I usually don't play games like this, the arena style ones "battle royals" but I am enjoying it! I just struggle with looting bins and picking up stuff as quickly as possible. I am not very good at the game but I find it easy to pick up and play when I got nothing going on.

As for who I play as, I am still trying to figure out which I like the most. I think the one I have used most overall though is Bloodhound. I just like having radar to see where people are.

As of right now, I am doing best with the C.A.R. and the Alternator. I like this combo because it allows me to use both heavy and light ammo in both guns and with the attachments, both do a lot of fast damage without the gun taking too much recoil. I will say that if you ever get the chance to use the gold C.A.R. do it! It is my favorite when I am able to find it.

I am going to try it out. I never actually did but a friend of mine mentioned playing it, someone I work with. So we are going to play this weekend. I mean the game looks fun but I never really played these sorts of games. I tried that COD game that is arena style but didn't care for it.

Shame it is only craftable right now. I been missing the gun since they removed it. Only just realized the hemlock was removed too the other night cause was mistaking it with the flatline lol

I like this game. I seem to be improving with it as well the more I play. This was the first of this sort of game I got into. I honestly never liked these arena style games where it is a bunch of small teams going at each other. I heard The Finals is another good one similar to it but it is still in beta last I checked.

I heard mixed things about that game. I know some people were bashing it because of the use of AI for voices and you can tell they are generated. I didn't look into all this a whole lot though. I don't play games until they are finished.

What do they do for the new seasons? I think there is only one or two days left at this point. I am considering getting a season pass if it is worth it. I am just not 100% certain yet.

The new season starts today but they are changing the game. I was looking through the update and they are changing matchmaking, getting rid of armor that you pick up, introducing some sort of level farming... I am not liking the sound of it. I would look into all these changes before you spend money.

They have done this stuff before. It isn't new for Apex. They had it where you level up like this to unlock better armor before. You might not have been playing when they were doing this.

I love Apex Legends! I only recently started playing. I probably played like 30 or 40 matches and managed to get champion 5 or so times. Not bad for someone new to the game! I plan on playing more tonight. Hard to believe this is a free game.

They have done this stuff before. It isn't new for Apex. They had it where you level up like this to unlock better armor before. You might not have been playing when they were doing this.

Oh! I didn't know about this. I was reading about the changes in the latest season update when it dropped and now that I have played it for a few days, I think it is a good update. I feel the matches are more balanced which is something I had complained about before. I was getting matched up with people that were either WAY worse than me or people that ran circles around me.

The armor thing I like and prefer. I have to worry less about finding something which helps. I can focus on bags and guns attachments.

For a free game, Apex is one of the best out there. I honestly did not like it at first because I enjoyed TDM styles games and not these arena style ones with tons of teams but it grew on me. I have been told I would enjoy Fortnite since I enjoy this now and I did give that a try but I HATED it. I just can't get into that game.

Yeah, I agree with this. I did not expect this game to be as balanced and fun as it is.

Prior to this, I would have said the best free game was Warframe but I had gotten so bored with it. I played it way too much. Fortnite... I know a lot of people love it but I just couldn't enjoy it enough. I played it a bit when it was still new and lost interest.
