so I never watched anything Harry Potter, never read the books or know anything about the lore but I ended up playing Hogwarts and loved it lol

Have you ever played a video game when you never watched or had any interest in the movie it was based off of?

I never have. I don't watch very many movies but games that are based on them, even less likely to play. I did hear good things about Hogwarts as well but I have like zero interest in it. I mostly just play FPS games.

I can't think of a single game I played that was based on a movie. Not off the top of my head. I may have but I would not remember it lol

Not that I could remember. I think most games like this are for younger players. Usually games for like 13 and under. I don't remember a game being based on a movie being for adults.

Older titles I have but not anything recent. I think the most recent game I played that was based on a movie is Spider-Man 2. The game is considered to be the best movie to game port there is and I still love it. I played it as a kid and still go back to play it.
