    So what happened to Disney?

Watched this video recently and it got me wondering what happened. I grew up in the '90s and remember watching so many of their cartoon movies of which got such high praise. These days, it seems they struggle to break even if make anything at all from their movies or TV series.

They have always had backlash for what they do but it seems they are trying so hard to make profit these days, and it is hurting them severely. They are losing massive amounts of money every year and new layoffs happen every quarter like never before.

I can see their poor choices and changes making people be put off by things, but it doesn't seem to matter to them that they are losing billions.

Disney has been losing money since the late '90s if you tract everything. While they have had successful movies since then, it has been off the backs of other corporations they purchased. I believe the first was Pixar. They were already very successful but have since felt off under Disney. Same with Marvel and Star Wars. Everything Disney has touched has gotten worse.

This isn't just a Disney trend though, Microsoft and Google have done the same in the tech world. I think we just lack creative idea building and talent these days.

Yeah Disney has been losing massive amounts of money for awhile now. I think this is why they pushed to be more progressive hoping it would help but it ended up hurting them among their core fan base, that being parents with children. I can't tell you the last thing I even watched or enjoyed by Disney. It has been many years!

Some are saying that the push to hire certain people and promote activist agendas is down to them trying to correct and fix the money they have lost. Thinking this progressiveness is the future but they ended up hurting the company more.

Others think the destruction is being done on purpose. I just can't see that being the case, people like money too much!

Seems like intentional destruction at this point. They have been losing money for dang near 20 years now.

I am not some sort of business expert but to me, if you see something is losing you millions or even billions, one would suggest to stop doing what is causing the loss. lol
