Pets Thread

Something I can have in common with people I honestly agree on nothing with are pets. I mean I feel like animals bring people together in all sorts of ways as most seem to have a mutual love and respect for some or all animals.

So I thought we could use a pet thread. Do you have any pets? If so, share a bit about them! If not, have you considered getting anything?

So I currently only have a cat named Sam. I did have a few other pets but had to give them to new homes when I moved and now that I am planning a massive move to another country next year, I just could not manage more than Sam. He is my buddy though and I would not have been able to leave him behind. My parents took in my tortoise, my sister has my snakes (two ball pythons) and I had a small mixed dog that a friend of mine took in. He would be far too old to travel. I actually adopted him in his older age.

I have a pug (her name is Misty) and a cat named George. I intended on getting another pug but ended up taking in a stray cat (George) and the two have become very good friends. They both share a bed together and George actually cleans Misty as if she was a cat.

I have a few cats and an aquarium which I actually got for the cats but ended up turning it into a hobby of mine.

No pets currently. I am planning on adopting in the near future. I was still grieving a loss. It takes me a while to get over a pet as I view them as family. I am going to see what options are out there in terms of adult cats and dogs. Not sure which I want but I want to adopt an animal that is less likely to find a home.

I live with a few roommates (my brother and a friend of his) and they have a few cats. I don't have any but I do consider the cats to be "mine" since I live here. They are really cool cats too. Very friendly and love people. I was never a cat person before this. I honestly hated them lol

I wish I could have some pets but where I live right now, not an option. The dog in my pic WAS my little girl but my ex ended up having to take her when I moved. It is fine, I know she loves her and care for her.

Oh I did not even realize that I didn't mention my pets. I have two cats, Simon and Molly. Simon is a Siamese mix and Molly is a Ragdoll. I actually got Simon from my aunt, two of her cats had a litter and she couldn't keep all the kittens but wanted them to go to family. Thankfully he gets along great with Molly. They are best friends and sometimes will ignore me all day until they want food lol

I have a cat named Kitty, yeah I know so original! lol!!

And I have 3 tree frogs, Grok, Grute, and Grimes. I had them before Elon Musk decided to name his AI thing Grok!! And I had no idea his ex wife had the stage name Grimes. Everyone thinks I am some Elon super fan or something... I am not! lol
