Biotech king Evans lands $50m injection for Ellipses cancer drugs
Sir Christopher Evans, the renowned British biotech entrepreneur, is close to landing $50m (£37m) in funding for a developer of a new portfolio of cancer treatments.
The private equity backer of Burger King UK has injected millions of pounds of new funding as part of a deal which paves the way for their partnership to be extended into the 2040s.
The King is said to be "greatly looking forward" to sharing what will be a historic moment praying alongside Pope Leo, after an arduous week of scandal for the Royal Family.
A University of Cambridge spinout which produces medical treatments for horses and livestock will this week announce a near-£5m fundraising from a syndicate of high-profile shareholders.
