    Maintenance Challenges?

I'm thinking of taking my RC boat to saltwater environments. Any specific maintenance challenges I should be aware of, and what preventive measures do you recommend to keep the boat in top condition?

Rinse your boat thoroughly with freshwater after each saltwater outing. Salt can corrode metal parts, so pay extra attention to the propeller, motor, and any exposed metal components.

Apply a corrosion inhibitor or silicone-based lubricant to metal parts before heading into saltwater. It creates a protective barrier, reducing the impact of salt on your boat's components.
