Are there drone laws I need to look into?

I figured while I was still here I would ask.

I have read people mention this on other forums. That certain places have laws about drones. Like weight, how high they can fly, where they can go, and so on. So is this something I should be concerned with and look into more before buying a drone?

Thanks, I will look over it. I feel like people don't talk about this enough. I know some people in recent years got in trouble for flying them in certain areas. I mean I get it, it is a security risk but more places need to make this public knowledge with signs and stuff.
