What was the last movie you watched?

I stopped watching most modern movies because they have been a letdown. Like some of them are good but I feel like there is some sort of creative rut happening in Hollywood or something. I started going back and watching older movies. Some of which I have seen before, others that I never did for one reason or another. I am following the top 250 list on IMDb right now.

Going in order. The last one I watched was 12 Angry Men. That is an OOOLD movie and I will admit I started to fall asleep to it. I don't remember parts of it. I can't say I will watch it again but that is just me.

That is a cool idea to go through the list and watch everything. You need to be awake enough to enjoy and appreciate 12 Angry Men. I first watched it in school and I remember being bored with it but I watched it again years later and liked it.

The last movie I saw was Killers of the Flower Moon and maaaaan was it a long movie. It was good but not my favorite Leo film.

Not all modern movies are bad, just a lot of them are recreations, reboots, or remakes which I am quite sick of. The ones that have original concepts can be good. The last "new" movies I watched was Pretty Things. It was funny and more enjoyable than I expected. The last movie I watched however was Inglourious Basterds. Only saw it once when it was still new and ended up rewatching it with a friend and enjoyed it more the second time around. Christoph Waltz is an amazing actor!

I was wondering about that movie, Pretty Things. I might check it out. Some people are saying it is good but others are saying it is too weird for them. It sounds like it would be funny.

It has been a while. I have considered some but never actually sat down to watch them. I am planning on watching a few of the newer movies that have come out his or last year but who knows when I will get around to it. I guess I just prefer series now.

Watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with my brother. It was a movie we remembered seeing but remembered nothing about. It is almost creepy how close we are getting the the "treatments" in the movie.

I like Jim's funnier movies. I can't take him serious in roles like this and it ruins the movies for me. Some actors can't escape comedy roles!!

That is understandable. I have heard people say this of other actors that have done mostly comedy in their careers. I think he has more range than others though, same with Will Smith. I think both can do good serious roles.
