PC Role Playing Game Recommendations

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new RPG game to play on my PC. I was wondering if you could recommend me some as I see a lot of you play video games on here.

I like RPG's like The Elder Scrolls and Final Fantasy that take me away from the real world 😆. If you have any hidden gems you are aware of please let me know.

The only one in recent time that I have played was Fallout 7. I think it is a decent game once you get going with things but I got bored with it too quickly. I can't seem to stick with games as long as I used to when I was younger.

I did play Fallout 4 and I did like that. I know what you mean about getting old, my problem is time these days.

Ever try Guild Wars 2? It is free to play and is basically just like WoW if that is your jam. I played it for a bit with some friends a few years ago.

I don't know if you would consider Warframe a role-playing game or not but that is another one that is free and a lot of fun!

I have tried Guild Wars 2, but I only play Elder Scrolls: Online in the MMORPG space now because I like the atmosphere.

Warframe on the other had I found very repetitive and only played it a handful of times.

Do you have any other recommendations?

I ran into the same issue with Warframe. I loved it at first but after awhile you realize you are just doing the same like 10 things over and over again so you quickly burn out on it.

Dark Souls III is probably my favorite overall in this genre. Have you played that before?

I haven't actually played any of the Dark Souls games. I will have a look at these on Steam when I get some free time.

Palwords but I believe you are already playing that one LOL

Diablo 3 and 4 (but 3 is better IMO)
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Work tends to get in the way for me. I am too tired to actually pay attention to games sometimes. That and have a lot of family stuff going on, it really restricts time. Like I do manage to make time for gaming but not enough to fully invest and enjoy stories.

It's funny you say that today because I have had a throwing up child to contend with all day 😂 and I was supposed to be having a good go of Palworld after work. I actually ended up having a takeaway and coming back to this website to do maintenance because I can't be bothered with anything too strenuous.
